Shifting Schedules Causes Cancer?

According to a study conducted by the World Health Organization’s IARC, the highest possibility of getting cancer are those who are doing firemen jobs and those with shifting schedules. It was found out that firemen topped in the list due to the amount of carcinogenic substances that they usually intake compared to other normal people. It is due to their exposure to smoke which contains lethal chemicals that can cause cancer. On the other hand, people who are working in shifting schedules like call center agents and nurses are also among the possible victims because of irregular sleep patterns. Researchers are doing their best to find out why and how to solve this possible problem.
